After researching Xina and learning about the systems they use, we are able to understand from a restaurant's perspective what they would benefit from, their strengths and weaknesses, and how social media plays a significant role in businesses and gathering information. After discussing Xina and its information systems with management we learned they use a POS system called Toast, multiple social media platforms, and interact with reviews and concerns healthily and positively. They also use the platform ADP on a Windows operating system which allows them to process payroll and HR. We found that there may be threats of information silos and encourage Xina to implement a business-wide platform. Xina does well with interacting with customers on their social media and should continue to do so as well as posting and promoting. They should also collaborate with other nearby restaurants as we mentioned before. As a result, their engagement and traffic will increase from that.
